This section provides businesses and private investors essential documentation to conduct business transactions. We have used these documents with our own clients and we would like to share these with the financial market.
We understand that there is much risk in investments, especially in Second Life businesses. The investors believe that they may be cheated, but at the same time, they are looking to make a profit. For businesses, they are looking for investors, but without investors confidence, this creates a standstill. There is no mobility and everyone remains static. Businesses cannot be created without the necessary capital to exist or grow. Investors would like to invest, but with recent events, they have no assurance that their funds are protected.
We have a solution. It is not the main solution, but we wll provide as much financial resources as possible for the financial market to grow. These documents were originally drafted by RL business attorneys for smaller businesses seeking private investors.
We have revised these documents to ensure a standard format and can now be used by both private investors and businesses. These documents may be revised by the respective parties.

Document: Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Purpose: NDA is a legal contract between at least two parties outlining confidential materials or knowledge of the business. The parties agree not to disclose confidential information covered by the agreement.
Document: Promissory Note

Purpose: Promissory Note is a contract where the party (eg. private investor) makes an unconditional promise in writing to pay a sum of money to the other party (eg. the business). They contain a specific promise to pay listing the terms including principal amount, interest rate, and payment periods. A notary must be obtained to ensure that the document becomes legalized.

Purpose: Contractor Agreement is a contract between the contractor and the client looking to initiate a Project. This ensures the protection of the client of the confidentiality of their information and the protection of the contractor stating the Statement of Work of the project details and their hourly rate for additional duties not stated on the original contract.
